In the 1970's I visited Canada with my son and we had a most memorable holiday staying with good friends. The image below is a detail from a print of a watercolour I made (now long sold) of a chalet in the Laurentian mountains. The dog bathing in the sunlight on the porch is 'Vicki', our friends rescue dog.

On the 20th August I had a very special visit from my good friend Susan Stanley, on holiday from Canada, who gave us this most memorable holiday. It was a joy to see her again after so many years.
